This low carb chili recipe is the very best! It's loaded with ground turkey, tomatoes, green chiles, garlic, onion, and lots of seasonings. So hearty and easy to make! Ready in only 30 minutes!
28ouncescanned diced tomatoes, I prefer fire-roasted.
4½ouncescanned chopped green chiles
6ouncestomato paste
3tablespoonschili powder
1tablespoondried oregano
2teaspoonsonion powder
1½teaspoonspaprika
1½teaspoonscumin
1½teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
Instructions
Add oil to a large soup pot and heat to medium-high heat. Once hot, add onions and bell pepper. Sauté until onion is translucent, approximately 3 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté until golden, about 1 minute.
Add the ground turkey, using your spatula to crumble it. Sauté the meat, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink.
Add in all other ingredients. Stir to combine. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. Taste and add extra salt or seasonings if desired.
