1tablespoonitalian seasoning
1½teaspoonssalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
2cupsshredded mozzarella8 ounces
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F. Spray the sides and bottom of a 9×13 baking dish with cooking spray. (I use an avocado oil spray.)
Add the penne pasta, sliced chicken sausage, canned crushed tomatoes, canned diced tomatoes, water, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir. Place the block of cream cheese in the center.
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove from the oven. Uncover and stir to break up the cream cheese. You don't want any white clumps of cream cheese. Spread the shredded mozzarella over the top of everything. Bake, uncovered, for an additional 15 minutes or until mozzarella is melted and pasta is fully cooked.
